The project is meant to bring a new space to an existing home. A space for the client to use as a workshop for their home, as well as a flexible work space.

With views overlooking the water, the idea was to create a peaceful space that allowed the client access to views, while creating privacy for the existing home.

Symbiotic architecture is not just part of the firm name, it was a key part of the philosophy of this project. A few iterations were considered for the design of the workshop. Respecting the original home, and the surrounding nature were key features for this project’s design.
